Porsche SP750 by Sportec

Porsche SP750 by Sportec

Swiss tuner Sportec has announced a new project called the “SP750″. It’s based on the amazing 997 GT2, which is now out on our roads for about a year. The standard Porsche GT2 has 530 bhp togeter with 680 Nm. That is enough for a sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in only 3.7 seconds and a topspeed of 204 mph (329 kmh). A while back we had TechArt creating a package for the GT2. They gave it nothing less than 700 bhp. That was clearly not enough for Sportec that created another 50 horses extra, to end at a total of 750 bhp. This power increase results in sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in just 3.2 seconds and a stunning topspeed of above 218 mph (350 kmh).

Trident Iseni

Trident Iseni

Trident. For most of us that’s an unknown name. It’s an old Britisch car brand and it was recently reborn by the use of a diesel engine. The project “Trident Iseni” is underway for a long time now but the engineers claim it’s almost finished. What’s more interesting for us is what rests under the hood and that’s not bad! We’re dealing with a 6.6 liter V8 turbodiesel engine producing 550 bhp together with 1300 Nm of torque! With this enormous combination of power you can do a sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in just 3.7 seconds and reach a topspeed of above 200 mph (320 kmh). Total weight is only 3260 lbs (1480 kg).

Maserati GranTurismo Spyder

Maserati GranTurismo Spyder

The Maserati GranTurismo is just one big success and after the first renderings on the convertible version back in April, the guys from autogespot could catch the spider in it’s early stages of development. The mule was spotted somewhere in Modena, between several other (bad looking) Maserati’s. Many details can’t be seen yet but’s clearly showing a two-piece roof. We believe that the GranTurismo Spyder will make its debut at the Paris Motorshow (starting October 2nd) with sales beginning in early 2009…

McLaren F2: photoshop or real?

McLaren F2

A little bit more than year ago we got the news that Mercedes-Benz and Mclaren were going to split. Some time later the end of the McLaren SLR was announced aswell. That was a lot of bad news in less than a year. Luckely it didn’t take long before we got some rumours about a Mclaren called P11 and today some new pictures appeared of what could be the final design of McLaren’s second model, the McLaren F2 which is announced for 2012 earliest. This means that McLaren isn’t dead after creating two of the finest supercars out on the roads.

Audi RS6 Avant by B&B

Audi RS6 Avant by B&B

It seems like the Audi RS6 Avant is somehow the perfect car to tune, after the Porsche Cayenne then. A few days ago we showed you 700 bhp and 702 bhp strong RS6 Avant. That must have inspired another tuner, more exactly B&B, for presenting their little package. They are coming with nothing less than 715 bhp which is, for now, the best someone could get out of the 5.0 liter biturbo V10.

Audi RS6 Avant by ABT

Audi RS6 Avant by ABT

When a tuner presents a package to make a car stronger and faster it mostly takes not long before other tuners present their package. “Life without competition is no life”, that’s what the guys from ABT probably thought after MTM tuned the Audi RS6 Avant. Normally we expect a car that’s just a little bit stronger than it’s competitor but ABT did it the other way. Their newest package for the RS6 topps off at 700 bhp, which is 2 less than the MTM RS6, together with 800 Nm of torque. But that didn’t stop the guys from ABT to make the car faster. It’s topspeed is reached at 200 mph (320 kmh). The sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) is done in 3.9 seconds (standard RS6 does it in 4.6 seconds).
